Our BAföG advisors are available to assist you by phone, email or in person. Who you should contact depends on the location of your educational institution and the first letter of your surname.
For general enquiries, please contact our offices in Chemnitz and Zwickau.
Our office hours are every Tuesday and Thursday (except on public holidays) from 10:00 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 17:00. You can also call to arrange an appointment outside these hours.
The BAföG hotline run by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space offers a video call service with sign language interpretation. Deaf and hard-of-hearing citizens can use this service to receive information about BAföG directly in sign language via video call.
