Apple dishes on 20.05. in the Chemnitz canteens on the occasion of the Diversity Day of the TU Chemnitz

To mark the 3rd Diversity Day at Chemnitz University of Technology, the Chemnitz canteens are offering delicious apple dishes such as homemade pancakes with apple compote and sugar, Brazilian minced beef pan with an apple and apple pie. On Diversity Day, Chemnitz University of Technology and those responsible for the Capital of Culture are presenting a special cooperation project. The apple is the focus of the Capital of Culture project “Living Neighborhood”. The diverse urban community in Chemnitz is celebrating apples as fruits of joy with an exhibition of selected recipes. For this exhibition, the project partners are collecting further recipes with apples from 5 to 31 May 2025 and also on Diversity Day itself to share national and international specialties. As part of the “Living Neighborhood” project, the Chemnitz-Zwickau Student Union planted apple trees in front of mensa55 and the halls of residence last fall together with the project managers and, in part, Sachsenlotto GmbH.
