Welcome to our Daycare Center "Campulino"

The Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau opened its daycare center "Campulino" on 2018-07-01.

We operate according to an open concept and are guided by the values and thoughts of Reggio pedagogy. The Reggio concept assumes that every child is part of the greater whole. Depending on their personal strengths, the children can be creative and learn about themselves and their environment with the help of their own sense of discovery. We value education and upbringing that is free of prejudice. For fairness as well as respectful and equitable interaction, we increasingly involve the parents.

If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

What are the priorities for space allocation?

Within the framework of its legal mandate, the Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau first allocates daycare places to children of students of the universities assigned to us. Priority 2 is given to children of employees of the universities assigned to us and of the Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau. All other interested parties receive priority 3. 15 places are also reserved for the Fraunhofer Institute.
