DSW Poster Competition Anniversary: “AI: My Study Buddy”

27.04.2026

Artificial intelligence has become part of everyday student life and is changing the way students learn, conduct research, and work.

Therefore, the German Student Services Association (DSW) is holding its 40th annual poster competition and inviting graphic design students to explore the role of AI in higher education through their designs.

The competition is open to students majoring in graphic design, communication design, visual communication, and related fields with a design focus on print media who are enrolled at state or state-recognized universities in Germany during the summer semester of 2026.

Entries for the competition will be accepted until May 17, 2026.

Poster designs must be submitted digitally via an online competition portal by July 26, 2026.

A total of 10,000 euros in prize money will be awarded. The awards ceremony will take place on April 19, 2027, at the Museum for Communication in Berlin. A selection of the 29 best posters will also be exhibited there.
