Project day: Urban-rural-cuisine
The Stadt-Land-Küche team is touring participating cafeterias in Saxony for a week and will also be stopping by our cafeteria again. As part of the Stadt-Land-Küche action week, mensa55 is planning two special meals on October 23. There will be homemade chicken patties with lime mayonnaise, served with baked potatoes with Mediterranean herbs and pointed cabbage salad with sesame seeds, as well as buttermilk curry with Hokkaido squash and tomatoes, served with millet and pink radish. Both dishes focus on regional products and a high proportion of organic ingredients.
