Welcome money 2022 can be applied for

The applications of the city of Chemnitz for the welcome money of 100 euros are now available in our Infopunkt. You can also print out and fill out the forms directly online.

The completed forms together with your certificate of enrollment for the summer semester 2022 or the winter semester 2022/2023 can be handed in at the info point until 22.05.2023. We will send them for you to the registration office of the city of Chemnitz. Optionally, you can also send the applications directly to the registration office yourself by 31.05.2023.

You must meet the following requirements to receive the welcome money:

• You are studying at the TU Chemnitz
• You have registered your main residence or sole residence in Chemnitz for the first time in 2022
• You have been registered in Chemnitz since 31.12.2022
